Profile

Sabnam Khadgi is a Kathmandu-based practitioner of Nepali cultural dance and a trainer in yoga, meditation and sound healing with Himalayan singing bowls and gongs.

She serves as Treasurer of New Vision Nepal, a registered NGO founded in 2011, and works with the Himalayan Wellness Foundation. Through these organisations she takes yoga, meditation and sound sessions to the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, schools and children's homes, and performs and teaches at Himalayan wellbeing camps above 4,000 metres.

Her work joins two parts of Nepal's heritage: its living dance traditions, performed in full traditional dress, and its contemplative practices of breath, stillness and sound.

Areas of practice

Three disciplines, practised together: performance that carries Nepal's cultural heritage, and training that helps people rest, breathe and focus.
